know Me
Hello my name is Jason Yamasaki I am a NRA certified Basic Pistol Shooting Instructor, a NRA Range Safety Officer (NRA# 266249150) and a Vetted Honolulu Police Department Basic Firearm safety Instructor.
My life in the firearms world began when I was a child, through my father who was a avid hunter. Recently I have move towards target shooting as a hobby. The joy I have target shooting is something I feel that should be passed onto others.
If you are interested in getting started with firearms or an experienced shooter feel free to contact me and we can do this journey together. It’s all about the fun of the sport and respecting the tools we use.

Hawaii Basic Safety Course is a 6hr. required course to obtain an affidavit to acquire a permit to purchase firearms in Hawai’i. Classroom time is 4Hrs./Shooting Range time is 2hrs. Ammunition will be provided for the shooting portion of the class. Eye and hearing protection can be provided (limited supply), if you have your own eye and hearing protection please bring them to class. Affidavit will be provided upon completion of the class.
If you have a group wanting to take the class, please contact me and we can arrange a class time for your group.

The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course is a great way for you to learn the basics of pistol shooting. A NRA course certificate will be provided upon completion. Ammunition will be provided for the shooting portion of the class.
This class does not satisfy the Hawai’i Basic Safety Course for permit to acquire firearms.

This course is for beginners wanting to learn how to operate and shoot pistols. The course is on an hourly basis and the students will have to purchase the ammunition. Eye and Hearing protection may be provided but if you have eye and hearing protection please bring them to class.
